Welcome to St. Paul

We're glad you have come to visit our website. We invite you to take a look around our site and visit us in person to learn more about the life-saving forgiveness we've found in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

St. Paul is not a community of perfect people. But we are a forgiven people - saints of God declared so for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ. And we'd be very happy to share the hope we've found in Him.

St. Paul Lutheran Church in Birnamwood, Wisconsin, established in 1898, is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS is a conservative Christian body which traces its doctrine and practice back to the faith of the early Church as recorded once, for all, in Holy Scripture.

We believe, teach and confess the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel (Good News) is that Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, died on the cross for the sins of the world, so that all people might be saved through Him. According to Scripture alone, through faith alone, we trust that God's "by grace alone" promise in Christ alone as the once-for-all answer to the problem of evil in ourselves and our world.
